Terms of use and research disclaimer for Stock Research Portal Blog: general information only, not investment, legal, tax or engineering advice.
Last updated: October 4, 2026
By using Stock Research Portal Blog you agree to the terms on this page. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Research disclaimer
This content is for general information and research. It is not personalized investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security.
Articles describe industries, data sources and research methods. They do not take account of your objectives, finances or risk tolerance. Where an article walks through a method, as the hypothetical case does in mining company valuation, the figures are labeled as an illustrative example and are not company data and not a forecast.
Using our content
You may read and use our content for personal or internal research. You may quote short passages with clear attribution to Stock Research Portal Blog and a link to the source article. You may refer to our tables and figures, provided you attribute them to the article they come from and link to it.
You may not republish full articles, complete tables or figures, or substantial parts of them, without our written permission. To ask for permission, use our Contact page.
Third-party data, trademarks and documents referenced in our articles remain the property of their owners and are subject to their own terms. Check the owner’s terms before you reuse their material. If you want to cite one of our tables in a report, presentation or internal memo, name the article, give its title and date, and link to the page so that readers can see the sources behind it.
Linking to our pages
You are welcome to link to any page on this site, and you do not need to ask us first. Use plain links with accurate descriptive text. Do not frame our pages or present them in a way that suggests we endorse, sponsor or are affiliated with you, your product or your views.
Accuracy, periods and revisions
We aim to cite sources accurately and to state the period, region and unit of the data we use. Sources may revise or supersede data after we cite it, so a figure that was correct on the date of an article may differ from what the source publishes today. Check the original source and its date before you rely on a figure for any decision.
Illustrative examples use hypothetical numbers to show how a method works. They do not describe any real company, project or market, and they should not be used as inputs to a real decision. Where an article states a figure from a source, it names the publisher, the period and the unit, so that you can find the same figure at its origin.
Articles can be updated as sources change. If you find an error, tell us through the Contact page. The Corrections page explains how we handle and record corrections, and the Editorial Policy describes how we select and cite sources. The article on order backlog versus revenue is a worked example of reading disclosures with care.
No professional advice
Our content is not investment, legal, tax, accounting or engineering advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship. Consider consulting a qualified professional about your own circumstances.
Third-party sources and links
We link to external websites and documents for reference. Sources can move, change or be withdrawn without notice, and a link that worked when an article was written may later point to a different version of a page, including those on our data sources page. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. A link does not mean we endorse the linked site, and a source’s terms of use apply to anything you take from it. Reading or citing codes, standards or regulations in our articles does not give this site, or you, any certification or qualification under them.
Sponsored or paid links
We do not currently carry sponsored or paid links. If that ever changes, such links will be clearly labeled as sponsored and marked with the rel=“sponsored” attribute, and they will not influence the sources or conclusions in an article.
Limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We are not liable for losses or damages that arise from your use of, or reliance on, the site, its content or any linked third-party material, again to the extent permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for your own decisions and for checking information against original sources. Nothing in these terms limits any right or liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms. How we handle personal data is described separately in the Privacy Policy.
